The Saint Augustine Camera Club has scheduled two training sessions to get ready for the GTM Through the Lens Challenge -- a joint project between the Saint August Camera Club and the Guana Tolomato Matanzas Estuarine Research Reserve (GTMNERR).
The training will be hosted by Kaitlyn Dietz of GTM Research Reserve, and our own Linda Burek. They will focus on how to participate in a citizen science project to help document the flora and fauna in the watershed of the estuary, what the GTM is looking for, and how to upload your images to Naturalist. The challenge runs from mid-Sept to mid-Oct.
These training events are free and open to members of the Saint Augustine Camera Club only. The Growers Alliance Cafe normally closes at 6:00 but will stay open for us. Kenyan coffee, beer, and wine will be available for purchase, along with sweet and savory pastries. The address is: 322 Anastasia Blvd, St. Augustine, FL 32080
Sept 7 was rescheduled at the last minute to Sept 14. We apologize for any inconvenience.
